While designing new water supply systems or ameliorating existing ones, we use mathematical models which, when data base was correctly prepared, give us very satisfactory results. Hidroinženiring has many years and a wealth of experience in this field.

Where we are in charge of water supply system for a longer period (obviously with complete support and co-operation of authorities in charge), the problems have practically disappeared. We co-operate with hydrogeologists, when searching for new potable water sources, when catching the water public health authorities are involved also. But regretfully, less and less water sources are impeccable. In such cases treatment plants have to be put up, they are the most expensive structures in water supply systems. While designing them, we specify almost exclusively only equipment and plant, produced locally. We endeavour to minimize the size of plant for economic reasons, while maintaining standards high enough to achieve optimal purification, ease of management and maintenance.
