There are various kinds of wastewater and all of them have to be conveyed by sewerage systems to the recipients. They are:

- communal (households, hotels, schools, etc.)
- industrial (technological waste from factories and trade shops)
- wastewater form agriculture (bacon farms, beef farms, etc.)
Sewerage systems for conveying of urban (communal) and industrial wastewater vary. Mathematical models aid our experts design all kinds of sewerage systems. Similar methods are also used when ameliorating existing sewerage systems, which became overloaded, due to urban growth. In several cases Hidroinženiring takes over (in co-operation with authorities in charge) a permanent professional responsibility for the functioning of complete urban or industrial estate sewerage system.
